Terms of Use

By submitting a photo image through the UCard Photo Upload web site, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with the image submission.

If you choose not to proceed, you will be required to visit the UCard Office, 168 Whitmore Administration Building, to have your photo taken and your card produced.

We may update these terms and any changes will be effective immediately.

About the ID card
The UCard is the official ID card of The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The card is the property of the university and its use is governed by the University's regulations and policies.

How we will use your photo image?
The digital photo image that you submit via this website will be used to produce your UCard. The card is proof of identity and provides door access, library services, and other functions. You will access your meal plan, vending, printing and parking services with your UCard. Other services may become available in the future.

Other uses of your image
By submitting this photo for your UCard, you agree that this photo may be used by the staff and faculty of various University of Massachusetts departments.

The university does not guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the UCard Photo Upload System. We cannot guarantee that this system will be compatible with any specific hardware or software. We reserve the right to suspend use or access to this system at any time, for any reason.

UCard Policies
UCards are the property of the university.

The card holder is responsible for the cost of a replacement card should the card be lost or stolen.

Your card is non-transferable. Do not lend your card to anyone for any purpose.
Misuse of your UCard including tampering with or defacing the card may lead to suspension of UCard privileges.
